Reentry Reform in Coastal Georgia
Tuesday, September 8th @ 6:00PMReturning home should mean a real opportunity to rebuild, but for many people across Coastal Georgia, barriers to housing, employment, transportation, professional licensing, and access to essential resources continue long after incarceration ends.
Building on the Reentry Town Hall held in Savannah this July, this Talk Justice Tuesday continues the conversation about reentry across the region, what people are experiencing, where gaps remain, and what meaningful reform can look like.
Hosted by Deep Center and the Justice Reform Partnership Southeast Georgia Chapter, this conversation will be led by directly impacted leaders and advocates working across the region. Together, they’ll explore the challenges communities are facing, how local leaders and organizations are responding, and the policy and community-driven solutions needed to create stronger pathways home.
